IMPC Council

The principal purpose of the International Mineral Processing Council (known as the IMPC) is to maintain oversight over the various formal activities of the international mineral processing community and to represent the views of the international community of mineral processors as it sees appropriate from time to time. The Council is an elected body and is responsible for matters such as deciding on the venue and date of International Mineral Processing Congresses, ensuring that Congresses maintain the high standards generally associated with such events, establishing Commissions in areas of interest to the global minerals processing community, making awards to distinguished mineral processors.
